To thrive in this role, we’re looking for individuals who possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED (a caring heart is a major plus!).
  • Prior caregiving experience is a benefit, but we’re happy to train the right candidate with a willingness to learn and grow!
  • CPR and First Aid certification (we can help you get certified if needed).
  • A compassionate and patient spirit with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers (lifting up to 50 lbs).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.


As a Home Health Aide at New Century Home Care, you’ll play a vital role in supporting client independence and well-being. Your day-to-day tasks will encompass:

  • Providing personalized assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Partnering with clients to ensure medication adherence and offering support as needed.
  • Creating healthy and delicious meals while catering to individual preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through light housekeeping tasks.
  • Fostering meaningful connections by engaging clients in conversation, participating in recreational activities, and offering companionship.
  • Providing safe transportation to appointments and outings, ensuring clients feel confident and supported.
  • Keeping a watchful eye and reporting any changes in a client’s health, behavior, or environment to the care team.
  • Upholding the highest standards of care by adhering to all state regulations and New Century Home Care policies.
